RAD Studio is a 3 room recording and production facility located in scenic Bushwick, Brooklyn. We specialize in producing, recording, mixing, re-mixing, composing, and sound design. We’re good, cheap and probably a lot more rad than that other studio you were thinking about going to….

We do full day or half day bookings.

Half day – $125
Full day – $200
Full day + house engineer – $300

Full day = 8 hours minimum. (We’ll usually go over.. 10 hours tops. If we like you.)

You don’t do hourly? Uhh.., we can. It’s 40$/hr with a two hour minimum.

Hours of operation? We try to keep it between 10am and 10pm. But we can do whatever, .. if we want :).

So. Our rates are pretty much half any comparable studio in and around nyc. FYI.

What about producing?
Yeah, we do that too.

If you are looking for a producer, we’re always interested in taking on new projects, EPs, Albums, etc. Send us an email.

How we used to do it in the ole’ days

For this addition of “how we used to do it in the ole’ days”, Johnny brought over his modular synthesizer to do some sound design for a sci fi film we’re doing. This is the sound that vintage computers make in the future (if thats not obvious)
